The Story.

This restaurant is, in my opinion, one of the best Malaysian spots in all of BC. It has been a staple since my parents immigrated from the Philippines, but sadly, the owners have decided to close their doors for good this September. Known for its incredible Malaysian cuisine—especially its famous kolo mee, which you won’t find anywhere else—it has been a hidden gem for many of us in Surrey. Soon, it will exist only in our memories. As a tribute, I decided to create a graphic design rebrand, imagining how I would refresh its identity if given the chance.
